Ben Pollon
Ben was raised in the Turks and Caicos Islands where he developed a passion for the ocean and boating at an early age. Coming from a family of sailors, he was set on a course that made him a natural fit for the marine industry. After 10 years of owning and operating a successful marine repair business in Fort Lauderdale, he joined the megayacht industry as a full time Captain.He went on to earn his 3000GT Masters License, and spent over 15 years in command of numerous high-profile yachts, providing 5-star service to discerning yacht owners and charter clients.
His vast cruising experience has taken him from the far reaches of the South Pacific, Caribbean and Mediterranean including 13 trans-Atlantic Crossings and 5 Panama Canal transits. As a Captain, Ben was actively involved in yacht sale transactions, refits and new build projects, which created a smooth transition into becoming a highly knowledgeable and well-connected broker. He emphasizes pairing the right boat with the right person while building lasting relationships with his clients. Ben resides in Jupiter, Florida, where he spends his free time on the water with his children or exploring the FL coastline in a Cessna airplane.
Oriana Schneps
Oriana hails from Cambridge, MA graduating from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She launched her marine career in 2010 working on research vessels for the aquarium in Boston. Even acquiring the skill of Dive Master, she realized her personal goal was to push the boundaries of marine exploration, “I love discovering all the oceans have to offer, both above and below the water!”
Oriana’s affinity for mega-yachts began in 2016; she managed the interior teams on yachts up to 200 ft/60 meters where she established her purpose was to curate once-in-a-lifetime experiences for those who share a like-minded love of the oceans. Oriana joined UYS in April of this 2022 and currently lives between New York City and South Florida. She is also an offical cast member of Bravo’s hit reality TV show focused on the yachting industry, Below Deck Adventure.
